Today marks the beginning of the process of purchasing a Tiffin Zephyr motorhome. This is the first time I have made a purchase over $1500 and the first home I have ever owned. Today I scheduled an appointment for a showing of the Zephyr for next week, Thursday at 1:30 PM. I affectionately refer to the Zephyr as “the bot squash RV”. The story goes, there was once an image editing bot for Discord called Zephyr. The bot went offline sometime around Thanksgiving of 2024. There were jokes around the Discord community that the bot was sleeping for several months. Then Kayle put “zephyr into Google image search and the first thing to come up randomly was a type of summer squash called a Zephyr squash. The joke then became that Zephyr bot became Zephyr squash. At the same time last year, there was a prophecy forming between myself and Kayle that we would have our future home in an RV. So when I started my search for motorhomes officially 3 months ago, I noticed that the best value for money was a motorhome called the Tiffin Zephyr. Naturally I was in love immediately, and it was affectionately dubbed “the bot squash RV”.
